In the midst of crisis, our local law firms have stepped up to support Atlanta Legal Aid’s clients in meaningful ways. In particular, the firms highlighted below have committed to continue making substantial financial contributions to Atlanta Legal Aid. We call them Pacesetters because they do just that — they set the pace for our work. In 2019, local firms collectively contributed over $1 million to Atlanta Legal Aid and allowed us to serve at least 2,000 additional individuals and families. That’s a huge impact, and one we don’t take for granted.
In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, legal aid organizations across the country will see increased need — especially in protecting low-income clients from homelessness as eviction bans expire. The dedication of these Atlanta firms means that more people will stay in their homes, be protected from domestic violence, and receive the public benefits they need to survive this crisis.
Thank you to all of the individuals at these firms who have supported Legal Aid through the years. We are grateful and humbled by your support.
