Volunteer Spotlight: Nick Going

Nicholas Going, Principal Attorney at Honeywell, began volunteering with our Service Council during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. His deep commitment to helping others led him to take on more pro bono cases, and he recognized Legal Aid as the ideal platform to make a meaningful impact.

“I was honored to contribute at a time when Legal Aid served as a lifeline to many individuals—whether they were grappling with medical issues, facing eviction, or victims of a surge in domestic abuse. While the pandemic may have passed, the need for assistance remains, and I continue to be in awe of how Legal Aid remains a critical resource for the most vulnerable during uncertain times.”

Nick has contributed to various initiatives at Legal Aid, including the Wills Clinic, where he helped clients establish control over their end-of-life decisions. His passion for supporting Atlanta Legal Aid’s mission is unwavering, and he encourages others to get involved—whether through volunteering, donating, or attending our events.
